Lo Romero
Golf

Known across Spain as "The Golf Island" — a course built around eight lakes, finishing on a green completely surrounded by water.

Est. 2008 18 Holes · Par 72 Island Green 18th Pilar de la Horadada

A golfer's memory that lasts long after the round.

Designed by Jorge Gallen and Enric Soler and opened in 2007–08, Lo Romero sits in a natural basin that was once a pear and apple orchard, near Pilar de la Horadada on the southern edge of the Costa Blanca. Eight lakes and a running brook weave through the layout, giving the whole course its nickname: "The Golf Island."

The signature is the 18th: a green set on its own island, entirely surrounded by water, played from an elevated tee. Every reviewer remembers this final hole — a fitting, dramatic finish to a round played in a quiet, private landscape of pines and gentle hills.
